My Thoughts On This Blog

I recently changed the tagline of my blog to something that I think better reflects what it's about.

Previously, it was "A blog about finding fulfillment within"

While that is certainly still the case, I thought I'd dumb it down to something even more basic. Something that didn't scare people away with the word "fulfillment," which I've come to learn can rub folks the wrong way, just like the "quest for happiness" has become rather trite in today's world. Instead of those buzzwords, I changed the tagline to:

"A blog about the important stuff in life" ...

Because that's truly what it's about. Nothing more. Nothing less.

And with that, I'd like to remind you, my beloved reader, how I intend for you to view this blog.

Of course, you may view it, consume it, read it, do whatever you want with it, however you want. That is totally in your control. I realize you never even have to visit it, but you're here, now, so I figured I'd offer my perspective on how I view it, both as the writer, and a reader.

At the end of the day, deep work on yourself requires effort that goes way beyond the scope of this blog. My posts are merely thoughts and perspectives that come out of my experience with much deeper teachings that extend through days, weeks, and sometimes months of time.

Consider it a perspective shifter, a nudge in the direction towards what I deem to be the important things in life. The point isn't to stop with this blog. The point is to start with it.

Whenever you feel lost, or adrift, or forget what matters, I hope you will come back to this blog to remind yourself of what's true - of who you really are in there.

That's my goal. So please, take what you find valuable from my writings, dig in further where you see fit, and discard the rest.

Please let me know if you'd like me to address certain topics or do anything differently to provide more value to you.

And remember, there's no work on yourself that will bear no fruit.

Live with substance!
